Maryann Forward

Interior Designer
Delighting her Clive Daniel Home customers with interiors that bring them joy and pride.
Born in New Orleans, raised in San Francisco and Denver, Maryann attended University of Southern California where she earned a BA in English and a BS in Urban Studies.

While decorating her own first home in Minneapolis, where she lived with her first husband, Maryann discovered she had a gift and passion for design. She returned to college at the University of Minnesota and received her degree in interior design. Later she furthered her education at the Denver School of Art while working as a novice designer at Corporate Interiors Inc. in Denver. After garnering vast experience working on numerous office, hotel and hospital projects, Maryann was honored by her employer by being assigned the task of rehabilitating and turning into a showplace an 80 year old building they purchased to house their expanded business. Her efforts were rewarded by being promoted to head of the firm’s design department and cover stories in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles and Architectural Record.

In 1990 Maryann moved to Washington, D.C. with her second husband David and after taking a few years off to be “just a mother” , she attended the Corcoran School of Art and Design and began doing residential design projects for friends under the name “Maryann Kipp Designs”. She received many plaudits and subsequent referrals. Maryann and David moved to Naples as permanent residents in January of 2015.
