Carolina Rey

Licensed Interior Designer, ASID CAPS, PM Certified Accessibility In Place Specialist

"I believe that home needs to be the safest place. It is where we share, protect and cherish."

This ASID-certified designer is a high energy, enthusiastic lady with an innate desire to help others. She has been a design professional for over 15 years and believes her family values and passion for the creative arts are the driving force behind all her projects.

Carolina has had a genuine interest in helping seniors since high school when she worked with handicapped patients and is a Certified Accessibility in Place Specialist (CAPS), awarded by the National Association of Homebuilders. She doesn’t feel she chose designing for the aging population, but believes that type of design specialty chose her, prompting her to open her own firm designing exclusively for the elderly and handicapped for three years.

Carolina was born in Colombia and raised and educated in South Florida, where she earned an Associates in Science degree in Interior Design from Miami Dade College. She was awarded a Project Management certification from Florida Atlantic University Executive Continuing Business Education College of Business. Carolina has studied fashion merchandising and was a buyer of furniture for The Door Store for five years and also speaks Spanish.

Her portfolio includes adult living facilities, high-end homes, banks and commercial projects. Her added Project Management certification gives her an edge in managing, budgeting and organizing total projects. She has expertise in space planning, code compliance and product specifications, skills earned after significant work in commercial spaces. When designing private residences, her love for color and fashion shines, enjoying styles from contemporary to traditional and eclectic.
