Ann Marinelli Del Pero
Ann’s passion for design and the human interface has lead her to research and has reported on trends in the world of design while traveling through Europe, the Far East and the USA.
Ann Del Pero’s multi-cultural experience includes more than 25 years in the design field as an Interior Architect and Space Planner, a Furniture and Industrial Designer, university professor and design journalist. She has served as a consultant and Design Manager for several international manufacturing companies and has lived in the USA and Europe, working with business clients all over the world.
Ann’s passion for finishes and colors lead her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Art in Interior Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design and later a Masters certificate in Industrial Design and Design Management at the Domus Academy in Italy. She also holds a Masters in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
Working as a design journalist, Ann has reported on trends in the world of design while traveling through Europe, the Far East and the USA. She has lived and worked in Milan, Italy for more than 25 years, holds dual US and Italian citizenships and is fluent in Italian. Ann and her Italian husband have lived part time in Naples for the past 15 years. They have a 27-year old daughter.
Ann’s passion for design and the human interface has led her to co-author Playoffice, about the work environment, human behavior and relationships. She has also written books on cooking, featuring recipes from around the globe.
A specialist in residential, office, commercial and hospitality interiors, she has worked with international office furniture manufacturers as product designer, project coordinator and consultant. Ann has designed for such respected companies as Knoll, Steelcase and Herman Miller and was founder of aMaze-aMuse Design.
Now at Clive Daniel Home, Ann wishes to create a welcoming and comfortable environment with her clients – one which will both amaze and amuse them.
